FAQ

What happens at your first appointment?

Prior to your first appointment, we will email an electronic form for you to complete, just so we can have your basic details on file, and so the practitioners can know a little bit about you prior to your session.

The session will start with one of our experienced physiotherapists taking a medical and current history.

A physical assessment will be undertaken to determine the nature and appropriate management of your condition or sporting injury. Your condition will then be treated.

Time for appointments?

Initial Appointment: 45-60 minutes

Standard appointment: 30 minutes

What to bring?

Any referrals, relevant scans/investigations and reports related to your condition.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothing that, where possible, shows the area needing treatment. If you forget to bring or wear the right clothes, that’s okay, we have gowns/towels we can use to ensure you feel comfortable.

Do I need a referral from my doctor?

No. You don’t need a referral if you are attending as a private patient as we are first line health care practitioners.

If you are attending as workers compensation or third party (CTP) you will however need a referral, we ask that you contact our office prior to coming so we can sort out the relevant paperwork with your insurer.

Parking

We have both onsite rear parking and free street parking available.

Do you have HICAPS?

Yes. We have HICAPS available on site for your convenience which enables us to swipe your health fund card on site and all you have to pay is the gap. The gap will vary between health fund and level of cover.
